Bongo Entrepreneurship Program

Ever wondered how to create an entrepreneur in Africa?

The Bongo Entrepreneurship Program is aimed at creating self-sustainable individuals that can help develop the local community. Several have already used this opportunity to the great benefit of local entrepreneurs and the community as a whole.

We still have more than 20 defined business proposals you can sponsor. With fairly simple means you can create a meaningful existence for someone with limited opportunities for employment or funding of business plans. Furthermore, you enable the person to create a sustainable income that can support a family of several.

How?

Bongo Development Tourism provides you with alternative business ideas that have been defined and budgeted by the entrepreneurs under the guidelines of the program managers. Based on your personal interest and the level of funding, you can find just the entrepreneur You would like to sponsor.

All funded entrepreneurs must, as a minimum, meet with the managers of Bongo Camping once a week the first month of receiving funding and once a month the following 5 months. The managers at Bongo Camping will also function as financial advisors.

The winning entrepreneurs are obligated to report their progress in budgets, as a minimum, once each month. All reports will be communicated to sponsors and email correspondence with the entrepreneurs directly is also possible and encouraged.

So?

Do you or your company want to sponsor one of our entrepreneurs? Please contact Bongo Camping for further details concerning the Entrepreneurship Program and possibilities for becoming a sponsor.

It is encouraged to apply your own or company specific knowledge when participating in the Bongo Entrepreneurship Program. The program also offers an opportunity to meet with the Tanzanian entrepreneurs at our Camping grounds in Tanzania. Bongo Development Tourism encourages active participation in workshop sessions and other related activities during stays in Tanzania.

A full list of business proposals and profiles of the entrepreneurs, as well as the existing projects and their progress, will soon be available on this site or forwarded on request.
